A Little More about Myself and my Art.

I am a mother of three sons and a daughter and Grandmother to eight.  Back when my children were growing up as a single parent I didn't have the time, space or finances to pursue my love of art but as they have flown the nest over the years I have turned my attention to expressing my awe of the world we inhabit on canvas with paint.  I see my art as feelings expressed through colour and form and really love that people view my work differently and see in my paintings things they relate to personally.  For me it all comes down to how something makes you feel when you look at it and when I paint I lose myself in my work and can never plan what is going to happen on the canvas.  I don't do commission works where a buyer says what they want me to produce, I cant work like that, and every piece is different according to what I'm feeling at the time so I'm afraid I only do one off artworks.
